pas-de-chat:

Margaery isn’t “better” than Sansa.

Margaery had the backing and support from a family and network of players who were adept at social maneuvering.

Even when Ned was alive, he was the absolute worst at PR and courtly behaviors. Sansa always had to handle Kings Landing alone.

And the fact that she’s still alive makes her a fucking BOSS.

” Margaery Tyrell gave the queen a coy smile. “But I never knew that King Robert was so accomplished at the joust. Pray tell us, Your Grace, what tourneys did he win? What great knights did he unseat? I know the king should like to hear about his father’s victories.” A flush crept up Cersei’s neck. The girl had caught her out. … It had been Jaime she had been thinking of when she spoke. It is not like me to forget myself.

So the girl is as clever as she is pretty.”

“Let the kings of winter have their cold crypt under the earth, Catelyn thought. The Tullys drew their strength from the river, and it was to the river they returned when their lives had run their course.”
